Point of Sale
Point of Sale is a lightning fast, feature packed, point of sale module that will help close sales over the phone or through a Live Chat. You can control every aspect of the order process from start to finish using the Point of Sale module.
If you do not see this option in your admin, enable the Point Of Sale module in the Administration -> Modules section.

Occasionally, a user can't or doesn't want to use the checkout on your site and may request to place the order over the phone. Sometimes a customer will call and request a discount or an invoice to be approved before they order. Sometimes you are at a trade show, or a public place and you need an easy to use interface to place orders. With the Point of Sale phone ordering module you can handle these situations with ease.
When you click the Orders -> Point Of Sale link the page will open in an interface without any admin links. The interface is a stand alone page. There are 5 main sections and they can be entered in any order.

- Customer
- Shipping
- Discounts
- Payment
Products
To add a product you can either browse by category, or you can search by product title, SKU, or details. Once the desired product is displaying click the +Add Product Button
Once a product is added you can adjust the quantity, options, and/or price. You have full control of all of this in the interface.
Customer
You can either search existing customers, or enter new customer data for this order. When you begin typing in the name field your customer database is automatically searched. You can select an existing user from the list, or continue to the next field and insert your customer's data manually.
Shipping
Shipping is automatically loaded when the products and the customer's address have been entered. You can select the customer's preferred shipping method, and adjust the price if required.
Discounts
You can enter an optional percentage off, or absolute discount to apply to the order.
Payments
All payment methods active in your store are available in the Point of Sale. Additionally you can specify a payment method to only be available in the Point of Sale module.
Once all of the data is entered the place order button is pressed. If the payment is successful an invoice will be displayed, and the customer will receive an email with their order.
